For Austin Pets Alive! (APA), a beacon of hope in Austin since 2008, the journey from a city with an 87% kill-rate to achieving a remarkable 97% save-rate for homeless pets is nothing short of inspiring. APA’s annual fundraiser needed a powerful tool to reflect this incredible transformation and galvanize support.
Recognizing the profound impact of their mission, Cognitive Films teamed up with APA to produce a compelling video for their event. Under the guidance of our producer, Eleanor Griffin, who personally resonated with APA’s cause, we crafted a narrative-driven film. The video featured heartfelt interviews with APA’s leadership and dedicated volunteers, sharing stories of challenges and triumphs. These authentic testimonials were interwoven with visuals of daily operations and the animals themselves, creating a strong emotional appeal.
Our approach was to let the passion of the people behind APA shine through, ensuring the film was both informative and moving.
